Neighbors Helping Neighbors
As you may well know, hunger has affected many of our neighbors this year. With the depressed housing market and economy, many of our Senior Citizens and families are struggling to make ends meet. When emergencies arise, they are often forced to choose between buying food and paying for utilities, medicine or even a home.
To Donate food items:
We accept donations of food, especially things like cereal, oatmeal, canned tuna and chicken, peanut butter and jelly. If you have food to donate, please contact Jean Smith at (774) 200-4380. Monetary donations help us to purchase perishables supplies to meet all the needs of our recipients.
Our Mission
The mission of the Wales Community Pantry is to create access to good, healthy food in our community. We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right. We are committed to responding to the needs of our community through food distribution and support services.
